Self-Sufficency of God
I have just gotten through with the chapter in the book by A. W. Tozer "The Knowledge of the Holy" on the "Self - Sufficency of God". He stated and I quote, "Necessary is a foreign word with God." I would like to share with you the prayer he gave before the chapter started, "Teach us, O God, that nothing is necessary to Thee. Were anything necessary to Thee that thing would be the measure of Thine imperfection: and how can we worship one who is imperfect? If nothing is necessary to Thee, the no one is necessary, and if no one, then not we. Thou dost seek us though Thou doest not need us. We seek Thee because we need Thee, for in Thee we live and move and have our being." And to that I say, amen.

Great Day of Hunting!
Yesterday me and my two boys went to a ranch here in West Texas to spend time with friends and do some pre-season scouting, it was a great day. While we were preparing to go out and see the beauty of God's creation, the men of my church pulled another one on me by getting me a Matthews Bow. I had no idea this was coming but man am I glad it did. The whole day was great we got to shoot a young female Coyote at about 148 yrds. We saw a herd of Prog Horns running at full speed. We saw several signs where some nice deer had been walking. But the greatest part of the whole day was that I was with my two boys enjoying the outdoors. Thanks to all my friends who love me and the greatest of friends.
